MJ Bears top Hillsboro 66-55
NASHVILLE -- Fresh off Monday's 63-48 loss to Cane Ridge, Mt. Juliet's boys bounced back with a 66-56 victory over Hillsboro Tuesday night in the consolation bracket of the Willie Brown Memorial Classic at Father Ryan High.
The Golden Bears, now 11-4 on the season, broke open a 29-all game at intermission with a 16-5 third quarter run.
Tyler Faulkenberry paced the win with 17 points. Jordan Lockridge added 16 and Christian Bell scored 10 points. J.R. Sanders and Austin Brown chipped in with seven points apiece.

NASHVILLE -- Lebanon's Blue Devils closed out the game with a 21-10 fourth quarter run to down host Franklin Road Academy 73-63 in the semifinals of the FRA Christmas Tournament Tuesday night.

Junior forward Cameron Oliver led all scorers with 23 points, including a pair of 3-pointers. Soph post Eddie Jackson added 20 while Kobe Neuble had 16, including two 3-pointers. Noah Mulaski had nine and Tay Jackson five to round out the LHS scoring.
The Blue Devils return to regular season action Tuesday, Jan. 5 at White County High.
(boys) WCHS 65, Hickman Co. 28
CENTERVILLE -- Wilson Central jumped to an early 14-5 lead and never looked back in Tuesday afternoon's 65-28 win over host Hickman County in the Above the Rim Classic.

All told, 12 WCHS players scored in Tuesday's win, including Kenan Ward with eight points. Dawson Hamilton and Dez Mason each had seven while Devon High and Eathan Robertson had six apiece.
WCHS is scheduled to play at District 9AAA rival Gallatin High Friday, Jan. 8.
(boys) Jemison 58, Friendship 54
JEMISON, Ala. -- Friendship Christian slid to 4-6 on the season following Tuesday's 58-54 consolation bracket loss to host Jemison High in the Jemison Christmas tournament.
The Commanders were outscored 28-19 in the final eight minutes, completing a frantic comeback by the host Panthers.
Zach Blair paced FCS with 17 points, Nolan Painter added 11 and Joe Greenwood chipped in with seven points.
