Funeral services have been scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29 at Watertown's Hunter Funeral Home for Mr. Hollis H. "Papa" Cluck, 89, of Lebanon.
Born in the Norene Community, he died died Jan. 26, 2014 at his residence.
A graduate of Watertown High and Nokes Business College, Mr. Cluck was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army, Medical Detachment, 135th Infantry Regiment, 34th Infantry Division (Red Bulls) during the Italian campaign. He was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge and the Bronze Star.
Retired after 36 years from the Veterans Administration in Murfreesboro, he was an avid farmer.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the service. Services will be conducted by Ronnie Green and Carlton McPeak. Interment will follow at Lebanon's Wilson County Memorial Park.
Survivors include: his wife of 64 years Mary Arrington Cluck; childre, Rosemary (Carlton) McPeak of Titusville, FL; Martha (Lynn) Cozart of Watertown; John (Gail) Cluck of Lebanon; Holly (Ed) Spears of Lebanon, Melody (Ronnie) Green Maryville and Tammy (Pat) Dorsey of Clarksville.
Also surviving are 18 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren along with several other relatives.
Mr. Cluck was the was the son of the late John Morgan and Ruth Clemmons Cluck. He was preceded in death by his brother, Denver Cluck and sisters, Estelle and Ethelle Cluck.
