The suggested scripture reading on Monday, April 2, is John 12: 1-11. Guest speaker is the Rev. Russ Stephens of Silver Springs Baptist Church in Mt. Juliet. Worship leader is John Grant of College Hills Church of Christ in Lebanon. Congregational hymns will be My Jesus, I Love Thee and At the Cross.


Food will be provided by Silver Springs and College Hills churches.


The suggested scripture reading on Tuesday, April 3, is John 12: 20-36. Guest speaker is the Rev. Sherard Edington of First Presbyterian Church in Lebanon. Worship leader is the Rev. Matt Steinhauer of Faith Lutheran Church in Lebanon. Congregational hymn will be The Old Rugged Cross. Instrumentalist and special music will be provided by Faith Lutheran.


Food will be provided by First Presbyterian and Faith Lutheran churches.


The suggested scripture reading for Wednesday, April 4, is John 13: 21-32. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Terry Cathey of Bartons Creek Baptist Church in Lebanon. Worship leader is the Rev. Bill Mulroy of Westland United Methodist Church in Lebanon. Congregational hymn will be Near the Cross. Instrumentalist and special music will be provided by Westland UMC.


Food will be provided by Bartons Creek and Westland churches.


The suggested scripture reading for Thursday, April 5, is John 13: 1-17. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Jonas Taylor of West Hills Baptist Church in Lebanon. Worship leader will be Mark Caruth of Immanuel Baptist Church in Lebanon. Congregational hymn will be When I Survey the Wondrous Cross. Instrumentalist and special music will be provided by Immanuel Baptist.


Food will be provided by West Hills and Immanuel Baptist churches.


The suggested scripture reading for Good Friday, April 6, is John 18: 15-26. Guest speaker is the Rev. Stephen Manley of Cross Style Nazarene Church in Lebanon. Worship leader is Charlie Mason of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lebanon. Congregational hymn will be Jesus Paid It All. Instrumentalist and special music will be provided by Cumberland Presbyterian.


Food will be provided by Cross Style and Cumberland Presbyterian churches.

The Peace Award is presented at the graduation exercises of Lebanon High School to two seniors who promote harmony and unity. A free-will offering will be received each day of Holy Week Services. Offering plates are not passed during the service. Place your donations in the offering plates as you enter and exit the building. This is the only source of revenue to support this gift which originated in 1993.
