Three local teams play at home
Watertown High's Tigerettes will open play tonight in the Region 4-A basketball tournament, entertaining Clay County High.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. with the winner advancing to the region semifinals Monday at 6 p.m. at Watertown.
The Tigerettes come in 13-15 overall and winners of three consecutive games until a 58-54 District 8-A tournament finals setback to Goodpasture back on Friday, Feb. 17.
Clay County stands 20-11 on the season after having defeated Jackson County 66-33 in the District 7-A consolation game Monday, Feb. 20 at Livingston Academy.

Region 5-AAA girls
Tonight's opening round finds District 9-AAA champion Wilson Central (29-2) at home for a quarterfinal game versus Kenwood High (14-12).
Mt. Juliet, 16-12 and the 9-AAA runner-up, will be at home taking on Clarksville High (23-5).
Both games are scheduled to tip at 7 p.m.
