LHS swept at Station Camp
GALLATIN -- Station Camp swept a District 9-AAA doubleheader from Lebanon High Friday, Jan. 8.
The Devilettes dropped a 58-49 decision to SC in Friday's opener, despite 14 points from Kendra Brown and eight from Ireland Elie. LHS slid to 8-10 overall and 1-3 in District 9-AAA.
The nightcap found Station Camp improving to 18-0 on the season (4-0 in the district) with a 69-64 win over the Blue Devils (13-3, 3-1).
The Bison marched to the free throw line 34 times, knocking down 22 while LHS was just 6-of-10 at the stripe.
Senior guard Tay Jackson led Lebanon with 20 points while Cameron Oliver had 14 and Kobe Neuble 12.
LHS returns to the hardcourt Tuesday, Jan. 12 to play at Gallatin.
WCHS splits with Green Wave
GALLATIN -- Wilson Central's Lady Wildcats demolished Gallatin Friday, winning 76-20, improving to 15-0 on the season.
Kendall Spray lit up the Lady Wave for 30 points, including six 3-pointers. Addison Byrd added 20 as WCHS improved to 4-0 in the district.
The second game found Gallatin's Nigel Black hitting a last second 3-pointer to lift the Green Wave to a 63-60 win over Wilson Central.

Dez Mason had 21 for WCHS in the loss and Aaron Schoch added 12.
Central will host Warren County High Monday, Jan. 11 in a 6:30 p.m. twinbill.
MJCA splits at DCA
DONELSON -- Bailey Jones connected on the front end of a one-and-one with .9 seconds left in regulation as Mt. Juliet Christian Academy defeated Donelson Christian 64-63 Friday.
Logan Anderson tied the game with a 3-pointer with 20 second left, and Jones clinched the win after being fouled on a rebound.
Tyler West led MJCA with 17 while Justis Willis had 16 and Anderson 14.
MJCA moved to 8-5 overall headed into a Tuesday, Jan. 12 trip to Hendersonville Christian.
Friday's opener found DCA pulling off a 42-35 win ove MJCA despite 12 points from Carly Hummel.
MJ Christian fell to 7-5 overall with the loss.
MJHS splits with Beech
MT. JULIET -- Tavie Bell had 15 points to lead Mt. Juliet's Lady Bears to a 49-31 win over Beech Friday at "The Cave".
Karly Dyer added 11 as MJHS moved to 9-4 overall, and a perfect 4-0 in the district.
In Friday's second game, Beech's Caleb Walton hit a last second bucket to lift his team to a 44-43 win over the Golden Bears.
Tyler Faulkenberry had 18 and Christian Bell 11 as MJHS slipped to 125 overall, 2-2 in District 9-AAA.
Mt. Juliet is scheduled to play at Hendersonville High Tuesday, Jan. 12.
FCS splits with Providence
LEBANON -- Providence Christian came back from nine points down in the fourth quarter to score a 48-47 win over Friendship Christian Friday at the Bay Family Sportsplex.
Zach Blair had 21 in the loss while Cameron Smith added nine as FCS fell to 7-7 on the season.
Ashlyn Pittman had 20 points and her twin sister Hailey added 12 as the Lady Commanders enjoyed a 59-48 win over Providence Christian in Friday's opener.
Now 8-3 overall, FCS will play at Gordonsville High Monday, Jan. 11.
Watertown splits at RBS
RED BOILING SPRINGS -- Preston Tomlinson scored 13 points and Ty Love added 11 as Watertown had little trouble in a 52-30 win over Red Boiling Springs Friday night.
The girls game found Watertown dropping a 47-46 overtime loss to RBS, despite 19 points from DaeDae Nunley.
WHS will play at 3 p.m. doubleheader at Watertown Saturday, Jan. 9.
