Mt. Juliet police said a 51-year-old Crossville man allegedly exposed and fondled himself to a female at the South Mt. Juliet Sonic in December and was found and arrested at Providence Marketplace Wednesday.

Police apprehended suspect Jack Roberts after he recently left his name and phone number on a female's car at Providence Marketplace, according to Lt. Tyler Chandler. A MJPD detective called the number and pretended she was that female, and police arrested Roberts after he showed up at Providence Marketplace at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said Sonic's surveillance cameras revealed Roberts' identity, but they could not find him at his residences in December. Police searched Roberts' car and found a fake Social Security card and said Roberts lied about his identity.

He was arrested and charged with indecent exposure, forgery and criminal impersonation. He was booked into the Wilson County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing to see if there were any more victims. Call police at (615) 754-2550 if you have any information related to this investigation.
