Two men indicted on child rape charges

Two men have been arrested and indicted for multiple child sex abuse charges after a lengthy investigation by the Wilson County Sheriff's Office, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the United States Marshal's Task Force.

Phoenix hosts Shawnee St. Sept. 24
Cumberland moved up nine spots to No. 16 in the first regular season edition of the NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 poll, released this week by the national office.
The Phoenix head into Saturday's 12 Noon home match against Shawnee State with a 5-1-1 overall record, posting a victory over then 16th-ranked Siena Heights University and playing to a 1-1 draw with then No. 8 Martin Methodist.

Friendship Christian's volleyball team improved to 31-10 overall and 4-2 in East-Middle District play following Tuesday's 3-0 win over Donelson Christian Academy at the Bay Family Sportsplex. Game scores: 25-13, 25-15 and 25-15.
Bayley West paced FCS with five aces, five kills, three digs and a block.
Alycia Long scored five kills with two blocks while Morgan Vallett had four kills, five digs and two aces.

Inductees include: Ricky Baker, Jill Gwaltney, Virginia Ann Huddleston, Coach Brownie Robinson and Olivia Seay.

A Saturday, Nov. 5 dinner and induction ceremony has been planned.
