Two men indicted on child rape charges

Two men have been arrested and indicted for multiple child sex abuse charges after a lengthy investigation by the Wilson County Sheriff's Office, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the United States Marshal's Task Force.

Mt. Juliet High students arrested
MT. JULIET -- Two Mt. Juliet High students were arrested Wednesday morning on drug charges after a sweep of the four local public high schools by local law enforcement.

The Wilson County Sheriff's Office SROs and K-9 team in conjunction with the Lebanon Police Department and members of the 18th Judicial Drug Task Force performed a simultaneous sweep on the four high schools.

CHAPEL HILL -- Forrest utilized its quick-strike ability to stay in Friday's matchup with visiting Region 4-2A rival Watertown.

The Rockets used their grind-it-out style to put away an eventual 35-28 victory - one that likely determined the region championship.

"Coach (Brent Johns) told us to be the more physical team," Forrest senior running back Jacob Jones said following his 116-yard, two-touchdown rushing effort. "In the fourth quarter, we were the more physical team."
