Pool season has arrived

While the outdoor pool at the JFFC will open at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, the wading pool at Don Fox Park will not. The wading pool will be "closed until further notice", according to Aquatics Manager Alex Major.

GLADEVILLE -- Moments ago, Wilson Central principal Travis Mayfield introduced Melissa Weiland as the new head softball coach at Wilson Central High.

Weiland, the head coach at Independence High in Williamson County the past three seasons, takes over for interim coach Shawn Smith.

Smith led the Lady Wildcats to a record of 25-17-1 this past season.
