James "Jack" Clay Arnold, 89

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 24 at Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mr. Arnold, 89, of Lebanon. Retired from the Tennessee Heart Association where he served as Executive Director, Mr. Arnold died Sunday, July 19, 2015 at The Pavilion.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of First United Methodist Church and served as a Judicial Commissioner for Wilson County between the years of 1991-2003. He was a longtime supporter of Lebanon High School athletics and was instrumental in the building / development of Nokes-Lasater Field -- former home of Blue Devil football.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 3 - 7 p.m. and again Friday one hour prior to the service.

Interment with military honors will follow in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include: children James Neal "Butch" (Lynda) Arnold, Bobby (Felicia) Arnold, Brenda (Watson) Brown and daughter-in-law Janice Arnold. Also surviving are grandchildren: Ginny Brown (Daniel Hatchett), Todd Arnold (Brittany Sluder), Steven Brown (Kate Nicewicz), Melissa (Houston) Aranjo, Hope (Nate) Beatty, Bryce Arnold, Jackson Arnold, Erin Arnold and Kendall Arnold.

Mr. Arnold was preceded in death by parents, James and Maude Arnold; wife Kate C. Arnold; son Chuck Arnold; and sister Virginia Arnold Harding.

Active pallbearers: Bryce Arnold, Steven Brown, Todd Arnold, Jackson Arnold, Nate Beatty, Daniel Hatchett, Houston Aranjo, Henry Harding and Jim Harding.

Honorary pallbearers: granddaughters Ginny Brown, Melissa Aranjo, Hope Beatty, Erin Arnold and Kendall Arnold.

Arrangements are in the care of Partlow Funeral Chapel, Lebanon.
