James Kenneth Paris, 74

LEBANON -- A Celebration of Life Service is set for 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mr. Paris, 74, of Lebanon. A veteran of the U.S. Army and a 23-year retired employee of Oscar Mayer, he died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011 at University Medical Center.

Visitation Friday between the hours of 12 Noon until the service. Pastors Erik Reed and Christopher Harris will officiate. Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include: wife of 54 years Janis “Jan” Paris; daughters Beverly Paris, Sherry (Alfredo) Escobar and Michele (Mike) Jones. Also surviving: nephew Steve (Lesley); brother Sid (Glenda) Paris; grandchildren Christopher A. (Kristin) Harris, Tabitha (Brent) Reed, Rachel (Timmy) Harris, Jaime Paige Jones, Tatum Jones and Chazz Jones; great grandson Joseph “JoJo” Aaron Harris; brother-in-law David Martin.

He is preceded in death by parents Earl Doyle and Lela Mai Rose Paris; siblings Chuck Paris, Robert ”Bob” Paris and Gloria Faye Martin.

Pallbearers: Timmy Harris, Eric Powers, Jeff Pleasant, Brent Reed, David Paris, Scott Paris, Frank Paris and Christopher Harris.

Arrangements by Partlow Funeral Chapel, Lebanon.
