A man sought by Lebanon Police on assault charges was captured Saturday, Jan. 14.
James R. Weir, aka Jarhead, 18, is now in custody. He was sought by police on outstanding warrants for Aggravated Assault and Especially Aggravated Robbery.
Weir allegedly shot a man in the leg on Dec. 27, 2011, at the Mini Mart on North Cumberland Street in Lebanon. In addition, he was also reportedly implicated in another incident in which he also allegedly fired upon a victim and her vehicle.
Authorities noted that Weir was affiliated with the Vice Lords street gang. A cash reward was offered for his arrest.
