Hassell has a 20 points-per-game average for the Lady Wildcats and has scored over 2230 career points.
"Jasmine Hassell is one of the sharpest young ladies I have met. Her selection is a testament to her hard work on and off the courts," said Ted Bertuca Jr., owner/operator of several McDonald’s Restaurants in Middle Tennessee. "It is an honor for the entire community to have her represent us in Miami."
"Jasmine is truly deserving of this tremendous honor," said Wilson Central head coach Brandon. "For a young lady who has achieved as much as she has, she is one of the most humble. I’ve been around good basketball players and good coaches my whole life and I know how blessed I am to coach someone of Jasmine’s quality. She is a remarkable young lady, who will represent her teammates, school, and community and Tennessee proudly."
