Country artist Joe Diffie is scheduled to perform in Lebanon on Friday, June 3.
Most recently, the singer performed in Lebanon during the 2012 Wilson County Fair - where he headlined a free concert sponsored by Bates Ford.
He's back with new music and classic favorites at Cahoots in June, thanks to Vision Music, Inc.
Diffie, a resident of nearby Williamson County, said he is happy to do a show so close to home.
"I get asked a lot to perform close. It is a good opportunity and it is easy as far as logistics," he said. "It is a no-brainer. We love to perform here whenever there is a chance."
Diffie is a Grammy and ACM award-winning artist, as well as a member of the Grand Ole Opry for over 20 years.
According to a release from Vision Music, Jason Aldean's hit "1994" introduced Diffie's music to a whole new generation, name-checking many "of Joe Diffie's twelve number one hits."
Of course, Diffie has not slowed down - continuing to write and record. Upcoming projects into the Country Unplugged acoustic tour with Mark Chesnutt and Lorrie Morgan.
"I'm lucky to have a lot of songs to choose from," he said of music at the Cahoots show. "If you come, you are going to enjoy yourself."
Diffie is eager to see his fans in such an intimate venue. "That is our life blood. That is what has kept me going for so long. It is always a pleasure to see the fans," he added. "This is going to be a guaranteed good time."
