John Dillon Cassetty, 22

Funeral services have been scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mr. Cassetty, 22, of Lebanon.  A 2011 graduate of Lebanon High School and a member of the First Presbyterian Church, he died Monday, Sept. 1, 2014.

An avid hunter and fisherman, he was the son of Melissa Denney Cassetty and John Kevin (Jolonda Swafford) Cassetty.

Visitation will be held 3-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. until the funeral.

Services will be conducted by Pastor Sherard Edington, Buster Drennon and Fran Buhler. Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

In addition to his parents, he is survivored by: brother Daniel Adam Cassetty, grandmother Judy Denney, grandfather Col. John T. Cassetty; uncle Chuck (Renee') Denney; cousins Meredith Denney and Sam Denney; great uncle Fran (Nancy) Buhler.

Mr. Cassetty is preceded in death by his grandfather Don Denney, grandmother Joann J. Cassetty; maternal great grandparents Erma and Bud Denney; C.V. and Elsie Maye Baker.

Active pallbearers: John Daniel Alsup, Cale Trisdale, Rob Bell, Skyler Davis, Will Stafford, Jack Partlow and Christian Fakes. Honorary pallbearers: Hunter Allison, Josh Hilliard, Peyton McCullough, Hunter Ashworth, Grant Partlow, Brady Estes, Matthew Bell and the Lebanon High School baseball team.

The family requests in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Vanderbilt Medical Center Children's Onocolgy Department or to Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency.

Arrangements are in the care of Lebanon's Partlow Funeral Chapel.
