John Michael Hall, age 49, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died Jan. 14, 2017.

First and foremost, John was a family man. He was born in 1967 in Johnson City, TN to Ann and the late, Charles Hall. John was a 1986 graduate of Science Hill High School, earned an Associate Degree from Hiwassee College, and graduated from East Tennessee State University with a B.S. in Business Marketing and Advertising. John's 25 year career has been in the Food Sales Industry, where he was highly respected. He launched his career in the early nineties, learning from his friend and mentor, John Hiter, and went on to work with Steve and Tandy Wilson before joining Hopco/Core Group as General Manager of the Nashville and Knoxville markets.

He is survived by wife, whom he married in 1992, Marquita Shipley Hall, owner of sister's Whimzy, in Mt. Juliet, mother, Ann Wall Cooper Hall, twin sons, age 17, Jakob Cooper Hall and Mason McKinney Hall, daughter, age 12, Caroline Cooper Hall, brother, Chuck (Cindy Wright) Hall, sisters, Debbie (Jamie) Buckland and Karen (Greg) Aube, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lee R. Shipley and Carolyn Garland Shipley, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Marquis and Sydney W. Shipley, nieces and nephews, Katie Buckland, Aaron Buckland, Savannah Aube, Chad Hall, Alex Hal, Perry D. Shipley and Macy K. Shipley. The love and support of John's army of friends has been a source of great comfort to the family.

A Celebration of Life will be begin at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017 at Circle P Farm, 503 Main Street, Mt. Juliet, TN. The family will welcome friends from 3-5 p.m. Dress is casual and all are welcome. You may view this event at https://www.facebook.com/events/166377923846909/.
