MT. JULIET -- A memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19 at Bond Memorial Chapel for Mr. Jasenovic, 91, of Hermitage.
Mr. Jasenovic died Oct. 29, 2011 after a short illness and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Born in Croatia, he escaped communism in 1952 and moved to Canada where he lived and worked until 1977. He then moved to the United States where he retired from Nortel in 1989 after 35 years.
Services will be conducted by with Chaplain Nanette Mathe.
Survivors include: his wife of 49 years Carmelle Poirier Jasenovic; sons Darko (Fern Shaw) Jasenovic of Signal Hill, CA; Ivan (Debbie Glave) Jasenovic of Queensland, Australia; Alan (Kathleen Nishikawa) Jasenovic of Wanship, UT and Michel (Sheri Sanders) Jasenovic of Murfreesboro.
Also surviving are grandchildren Jean-Sebastien Jasenovic, Dahlia Pattington Jasenovic, Joakim and Ellis Jasenovic and Emma and Simon Jasenovic as well as five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Jasenovic was preceded in death by his parents Antun and Marija Nemet Jasenovic.
