Juliet Cannon Clark, 97

LEBANON -- Mrs. Clark, 97, passed away Friday, November 21, 2008 at the Cedars / Quality Care Nursing Home following an extended illness.

Born Sept. 9, 1911 to the late Rosa Carney Moore Cannon and Thomas B. Cannon, she was a descendent of the original settlers of Rutherford County and was a graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School.

She was a former federal employee, a longtime volunteer at Doctors’ Hospital in Coral Gables, Fla. as well as a longtime member of First United Methodist Church

Mrs. Clark requested her body be donated to Vanderbilt School of Medicine.

Survivors include: her daughter Nancy (Campbell) Brandon; grandsons Bud (Bonita) Brandon and Tom (Lisa) Brandon – all of Lebanon.

Also surviving are great grandchildren: Clark Conner, Casey Brandon and Kayla Jackson — all of Lebanon; and brother Tom Cannon.
