Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Glover are set for 10 a.m. Friday, March 16 at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.
Mr. Glover, age 75 of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at his home.
Visitation Thursday 4-8 PM and Friday after 9 AM at Ligon & Bobo. Interment will follow at the Kelso Cemetery in Lincoln County.
Born February 5, 1937, in Smith County, he was the son of Daisy Watson Glover Ramsey of Lafayette and the late Leon Glover.
He was a 1954 graduate of Gordonsville High School and was in the Tennessee National Guard. He worked 30 years for Sammons Pennington Vending in Nashville. He also started the Ken Glover Band. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a cousin, Florence Ray West, and a special aunt, Vallie Glover.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Gayle Caldwell Glover; sister in law, Nell (Mike) Jones of Fayetteville; niece, Michelle (Shayne) Jones of Smyrna; two nephews, Brian (Jennifer) Jones of Townsend, DE; and Scott (Ginger) Jones of Fayetteville; special friend, Brenda McFarlin of Lebanon; cousins, Tommy & Darlene Plumlee, Sammy & Sandra Vantrease, Gary & Barb Vantrease, Ronnie & Mary Vantrease, Janice Vantrease, and Deannna & Jimmy Mullinax.
