Local softball at a glance
LEBANON -- Friendship Christian's Courtney Petty threw a perfect game against White House Heritage Tuesday afternoon, April 19 as the Lady Commanders won 3-0. Petty did not allow a base runner and struck out 14 as FCS improved to 25-7-1.

Ninth grader leads Central comeback
GLADEVILLE -- Unfazed after giving up an opposite field three-run homer in the top of the first Wednesday against Lebanon, you might say Wilson Central pitcher Kaylee Richetto settled down.
A ninth grader with apparently limitless potential, Richetto held Lebanon to just one hit the rest of the way in a 13-3 victory over the Lady Devils. She struck out two and walked just one hitter.
