To mark RED Day on Thursday, May 11, a day dedicated to serving the community, the Mt. Juliet Keller Williams Realty office and more than 150 of their associates will partner with the Wilson County Veterans Services Office, American Legion of Mt. Juliet and Lebanon, Lebanon's Vietnam Veterans of America, Veterans of Foreign Wars of America and Courtney's Restaurant to salute local veterans with a free pancake breakfast and day of service.
The community will have the chance to say "Thank you" and finally "officially" welcome home Vietnam veterans at the 2nd annual Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans event Saturday at Charlie Daniels Park at 10 a.m.

Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 8 at the Living Springs Baptist Church in Smyrna for Mr. Humfield, 45, of Franklin, Ky. A veteran of the U.S. Army who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring he died April 4, 2015.
