Kleinheider appointed to Lt. Gov. McNally staff

Local resident and former journalist Adam C. Kleinheider has been appointed communications director for the office of Tennessee Lt. Gov. Randy McNally (R-Oak Ridge).

As a journalist, Kleinheider ran well-respected political websites for Nashville media outlets WKRN-TV and NashvillePost.com. Appointed communications director to Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey in 2011, Kleinheider will serve in a similar role for McNally, managing communications and social media strategy for the lieutenant governor and the Senate.

A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Kleinheider lives in Wilson County with his wife, Sherry.
