Smith County native Chad Williams recently took ownership of the Lebanon Antique Mall.
Currently a junior at Tennessee Technological University who plans to attend law school upon graduation, Williams began his dealings with antiques and collectibles at a young age when he and his father acquired a baseball card collection of over 1million pieces. Since then, his love of the trade has developed into an appreciation for preserving American history through all items while turning into a profitable and enjoyable pastime. His most recent venture involves his love of music with a strong focus on the resurgence of the vinyl record industry.
Williams noted the mall, which currently has around 25 vendors with room for more, is always looking to buy records, comic books, vintage toys, old signs, coins, knives and more. The business is also buying entire estates and large collections. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
