Field Representative Evann Freeman, center, from U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander's office, recently stopped by the Lebanon gasification plant construction site to be briefed on the municipal waste-to-energy project. PHG Energy designed and is building the plant for the city. Construction on the support tower is visible behind them. With Freeman are Lebanon Mayor Philip Craighead, right, and Mike Webb, vice president of marketing for PHG Energy. The commissioning of the plant is projected for early October. The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation awarded the city a $250,000 grant to help with the construction of the plant. SUBMITTED
