Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 5 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Arrington, 95, of Lebanon. Known as "Memomma" to her family, she died Monday, March 3, 2014 at Quality Care Health Center.
Mrs. Arrington was employed as an Inspector with Robertshaw / Lux Clock for over 30 years, was a member of Maple Hill Church of Christ and was a Wal-Mart greeter for several years.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral. Services will be conducted by Bro. Joe Widick. Interment will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include: twin daughters Fay (Kai) Grissim and Kay (Ken) Berry; half-brother Raymond Hunter; half-sister Mildred Edwards; grandchildren Gwyn (Jeff) Jennings, Dr. Keith (Cryste) Berry of Carrollton, GA and Kristy (Jeff) Bird of Maryville; great-grandchildren Allison and Ian Jennings, Melia, Olivia and Vance Berry and Brooks and Braden Bird.
She is preceded in death by parents, James and Marie Gibbs Hunter; husband Garland Arrington; special cousin Dan Reasonover; and step-mother Ida Hunter.
Family and friends will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary: the Elders of Maple Hill Church of Christ.
The family wishes to express special thanks to the staff of Quality Care Health Center, Dr. Roger McKinney, Sammie Dunkin and Gentiva Hospice.
