Last week I mentioned a bit about Lean In Lebanon. Some of you may be familiar with it, either because you participated or you know someone who has. I'd like to use my time today to go into a little more detail about the program and the possibilities it provides.
Lean In Lebanon is a weight loss program presented by all of us awesome people at Sports Village. It's open to the public, so you don't have to be a member. In fact, the only requirements to join are the need to lose at least 10 pounds and the ability to make it to a minimum of 2 one-hour sessions each week.
The application costs a mere $59, chump change when you realize the impact a program like this can have on your life. In fact, we've seen entire families transform just from one parent taking the initial step to join!
If you are selected, you'll be paired up with one of Sports Village's amazingly talented trainers - I hear that Andy guy is funny, cute and really smart. You'll be meeting twice a week with your trainer and your group of Lean-ers, I think I'll be calling my team Team Awesome. If you object, you can join Team Burpees.
In addition to two hours each week with your trainer, participants will also get unlimited access to the gym for the duration of the program. Take my advice, those who take advantage of the open gym time generally make massive lifestyle changes. If you do the minimum, you'll get minimum results.
I'm not usually a hype-y type of guy, but I can't stress how important this program can be. The hardest thing you'll have to do is get the courage to enroll. We'll walk you through the exercises, help you nutritionally, support you emotionally and give you the tools you need to change your life.
I've seen people lose insane amounts of weight in this program. I've seen people lose incredible inches. I've witnessed people inspire and motivate one another. But most importantly, I've seen so many people fall in love with fitness. That, to me, is what this is all about.
There are no quick fixes. There are no shortcuts. There are no substitutes. You get out what you put in, plain and simple. If you want to change your life, if you're tired of getting the same results (or no results at all) then it's time. Gather your courage and make the change. Peggy, Will, myself and all of the Sports Village family are waiting to help you. All you have to do is sign up, show up, and commit.
If you're interested in joining in on the fun, call (615) 449-0031, or stop by Sports Village for an application. We'll be looking forward to seeing you and welcoming you as part of the SV family!
