Lebanon High basketball seniors McKenzie Lamberson and Cameron High model the Pink Out uniforms theyll be wearing Tuesday, Jan. 17, as the Devilettes and Devils host Portland in a 6:30 p.m. twin bill at Campbell Brandon Gym.

The LHS teams will be decked out in special white and pink uniforms to draw attention to the fight against cancer. A collection will be taken during the evening and a pink basketball signed by all LHS players will be auctioned off, with proceeds going to Gildas Club Nashville.

The effort came about as a senior service project by Devilette senior Lamberson, who lost her grandfather to cancer and has seen other relatives and family friends battle various forms of the disease.

Tagged Uniforms for a Cause, Lamberson raised money for the special Nike uniforms and has offered to lend them to other Middle Tennessee basketball programs.

So far, Blackman High, Station Camp (Jan. 27) and Friendship Christian School (Feb. 6) have agreed to wear the uniforms and contribute to the cause.
