Dear Ken: What happened to Darby Hinton, who played Fess Parkers son on the Daniel Boone TV series in the 1960s?

Hinton, 54, is producing a three-part documentary on the real Daniel Boone vs. the TV Daniel Boone and also has been working on a family travel show with his family called Hintons Living History. The man, who once portrayed blonde-haired, freckle-faced Israel Boone, now has four kids of his own, two in their 20s and two of them teenagers. His goal is to show families across the U.S. how to get the kids off the couch and to live a little history, for no or little money, right in their own backyards. In recent years, the actor played the patriarch of Greystone Mansion in The Manor, inspired by the true and tragic events that occurred at the historic Doheny Mansion in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Dear Ken: How many Home Alone movies have been made?

Two or three too many, perhaps. There have been four, with another on the way. The original flick aired in 1990, grossed nearly half as billion bucks and was followed in 1992 by Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Home Alone 3 hit theaters in 1997, while Home Alone 4: Taking Back the House was a 2002 TV movie. On tap is Home Alone 5: Alone in the Dark, starring Christian Martyn, 12, as an 8-year-old boy who moves from sunny California to a creepy house in Maine, where he tries to trap a ghost. Other cast members include Malcolm MacDowell, Debi Mazar and Edward Asner. It debuts late this year as part of ABC Family Channels The 25 Days Of Christmas.

Dear Ken: What bands had the 1970s hit songs Brandy, Youre a Fine Girl and Dont Give Up on Us?

Brandy (Youre a Fine Girl) was a No. 1 hit in 1972 for Looking Glass. It was also their only hit. David Soul, 68, had a No. 1 pop hit in 1976 with Dont Give Up. He was best known as Hutch in the 1975-1979 detective series Starsky and Hutch. The actor, who lives in England, has five sons and a daughter, China, who is a folk-rock singer-songwriter.
