Local person recovers after eating bad tomato

The Tennessee Department of Health did not identify the Wilson County resident who became sick, but a spokesperson said that person has recovered. Officials with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration have issued a warning not to eat raw red plum, Roma or red round tomatoes which have been found to contain the salmonella bacteria. The tainted tomatoes are believed to have come from Florida or Mexico.
