DC ninth grader Brooklin Lee scattered seven hits and three walks to keep the Lady Wildcats in check for most of the day.

Wilson Central starter Hannah Bodenhorn pitched out of a two-on, two-out jam in the second, only to see Dickson County push across two runs in the top of the third on a wild pitch and a sacrifice fly.

Wilson Central scored its lone run in the bottom of the sixth on a single by Hailey Hubbell. The Lady Wildcats finished the season with a record of 23-17.

Clarksville 3, Mt. Juliet 0CLARKSVILLE -- Heather Norris threw a complete game three-hitter Monday, lifting Clarksville to a 3-0 win over Mt. Juliet in the Region 5AAA opener.

The Lady Wildcats (34-9-1) scored all their runs in the bottom of the third inning, then let Norris handle most of the heavy lifting.

Mt. Juliet's Kelsie Craighead managed a pair of singles against Norris. Lauren Woodard started for the Lady Bears and was tagged with the loss for Mt. Juliet.

Coach Brad Rowlett's team ended the season with a record of 29-16.

District 9AAA finalsPORTLAND -- Mt. Juliet defeated Wilson Central 3-0 Sunday to force the if necessary game -- a 2-1 victory by WC for the 9AAA title.
