Boy Scout Troop 360 will host a barbecue fundraiser on Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Lebanon to raise much-needed funds for the troop.

Now in its third year, tickets for the event are $8 for an entire barbecue sandwich meal, including a drink and dessert, and can be purchased at the door. Organizers said they were "overwhelmed" by the community's support for the event last year, noting scouting offers boys the opportunity to try new things, provide service to others and build self-confidence. The costs associated with various camps and activities over the course of the year can quickly add up, especially for Troop 360's 40-plus active members.

The fundraiser helps assure the troop has all necessary supplies and expenses covered.

Swine and Dine will include a silent auction featuring a wealth of items, including gift baskets, gift cards, passes to Dollywood, Holiday World and many others.

To learn more, contact Scoutmaster Bart Sims at 615-414-3823 or Mandy Mullinix at 615-260-5864.
