The date and time of the 2012 Hall of Fame induction ceremony / reception will be announced in the coming weeks. The purpose of the Sports Hall of Fame is to identify and honor in a permanent manner those individuals who have achieved excellence in athletics at Lebanon High School. Fall ball in Mt. JulietOnsite registration for the Mt. Juliet League Fall 2012 season will be held Saturday July 7 and Saturday July 14 from 10-2 at the Park Office. Cost is $55 for t-ball and 4/5 baseball; $85 for all other age groups. Visit www.mjleague.org or email mtjulietleague@tds.net.

MJ middle girls basketballMt. Juliet Middle Schools Lady Bears Basketball Camp for girls ages 6-14 will be held between the hours of 9-11:30 a.m. July 9-12. Cost is $65 and advance registration is requested. Application forms are available at MJMS. Golf for LHS basketball teamsThe inaugural Blue Devils Basketball Golf Scramble will be held Monday, July 23 at Five Oaks Golf & Country Club. A barbeque lunch will be held at 11 a.m. followed by a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. Cost is $125 per player / $500 for a four-member team. Proceeds will benefit both the boys and girls basketball teams at LHS. Teams can reserve a spot by calling Five Oaks at 443-5375.


Lebanon junior pro footballCity of Lebanon Jr. Pro Football sign-ups will continue through Saturday, July 28 at the Harold Dean Greer Recreation Center in the Baird park Complex. You can sign-up M-F, 7:30-4:30 (lunch hour varies). Age groups are 5-6, 7-8 and 9-10. Birthday cut-off is August 1, 2012, must be five by August 1 and not 11 on or before August 1, 2012. Registration fee is $40, and we will need a copy of child's birth certificate if they haven't played before. Call 449-0303 for more information.


Realtors bass classicThe 20th annual Realtors Bass Classic will be held Saturday, July 28 at the Bulls Run Creek Launch on Old Hickory Lake -- just off Hwy. 109 near Gallatin. Sponsored by the Eastern Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors, the tournament offers a grand prize of $1,000 with other prizes determined by the number of entries. Senior golf invitationalThe Hunters Point Senior Invitational will be held Wednesday, July 11 with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Cost is $55 which includes tournament green fees, carts, prizes and lunch. Age groups: 50-55, 56-60, 61-65, 66-69, 70 & above. Call the Hunters Point pro shop at 615-444-7521 to register.


Two-man select driveHunters Point Golf Club will hold a Two-Man Select Drive Tournament Saturday and Sunday, July 14 and 15. Entry fee is $200 per team - carts not included. A cash prize payout is planned and mulligans will be available. For tee times or info, call the pro shop at 615-444-7521.
