Summer hoops at FBC

A summer basketball camp will be offered June 24-26 at First Baptist Church, Lebanon. The camp, for kids grades K5-3 will meet between the hours of 9 a.m. - 12 Noon. Cost is $50, but a $20 discount is available sign-up prior to June 19. Registration will close June 21 at the church office. MJ Middle softball campMt. Juliet Middle School will be holding a softball camp for girls in grades 1-9 June 24-27 at the school. Chamber night at SoundsThe Mt. Juliet / West Wilson Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring "Chamber Night" with the Nashville Sounds Friday evening, June 28. Reserved tickets are available for $8, a savings of $7 as the Sounds play the Oklahoma City RedHawks in a doubleheader. A postgame fireworks display is planned as well. For information, email

Bass classic set June 29The 21st annual Realtors Bass Classic, sponsored by the Eastern Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors, is planned Saturday, June 29 at Bulls Run Launch, Old Hickory Lake, Hwy. 109 near Gallatin. MJHS girls hoops campMt. Juliet High head coach Chris Fryer will hold his summer basketball camp Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday July 8-10 in the high school gymnasium. The fundamental camp is for girls ages 7-15 and will meet 8-11 a.m. Cost is $55 per player. Call 758-5606 or 443-4623.

Lebanon jr pro footballSign-ups for the fall 2013 season of Lebanon Jr/Sr Pro Football are being accepted online at Sponsored by the City of Lebanons Recreation Department, divisions will be offered for players: ages 6 & 7; 8 & 9 and 10 & 11. Players must be six on or before Aug.1, 2013 and not 12 years of age on or before Aug. 1,2013 Sign-ups will also be accepted in person at the Harold Dean Greer Building in the Baird Park Complex, 416 Baird Park Circle (M-F, 7:30 - 4:30).A non-refundable registration fee of $40 is due at the time of sign-up.
