SSES baseball tryouts
Due to rainy weather earlier this week, tryouts for the 2014-2015 Southside baseball team will be held Monday and Tuesday, June 16 and 17, from 4-6 p.m. at the Southside field. All players who will be in 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grade starting this fall are encouraged to attend. Players must be dressed in proper baseball attire - t-shirt, baseball pants, cleats, baseball hat and glove. Players must bring a copy of a current physical in order to participate in the tryout.
SIX1FIVE sports camps
SIX1FIVE Sports training will offer camps for baseball, softball, speed, soccer, football, strength & agility at the 139 Lineberry Blvd. location in Mt. Juliet. Camps will run through late July. For information, call 615-754-5556
Watertown High volleyball tryouts will be held Wednesday, June 11 through Friday, June 13 from 9-11 a.m. all three days. Call WHS at 237-3434 for information and ask for Coach Brandy Holcomb. Email Coach Holcomb at firstname.lastname@example.org
MJ girls basketball camp
The annual Bearette girls basketball camp will be held July 7, 8 and 9 at Mt. Juliet High School. Cost is $60 per camper for girls in grades 1 through 8. The camp will meet daily between the hours of 8-11 a.m. The camp will focus on the fundamentals of dribbling, passing and shooting. A free t-shirt is included in the camp fee.
