CU baseball camps
Cumberland University's baseball camps will crank up Monday, June 8 through Thursday, June 11 with two sessions of the popular hitting camp.
The morning session for players ages 6-9 starts at 9 a.m. and runs until 12 Noon. The afternoon session for players 10-12 runs between the hours of 1 - 4 p.m. Cost is $95 per player and includes a t-shirt as well as instruction from Cumberland coaches and players.
The all day fundamental camp for ages 9 through 14 will be held the week of June 15-18 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Cost is $175 per player. Visit gocumberlandathletics.com/campsclinics.

CU soccer camps
Cumberland soccer coaches Kyle Smith and Adam Grant will offer three camps for boys and girls this summer at Lindsey Donnell Stadium-Kirk Field, including a shooting, finishing and goalkeeping camp in July and passing, receiving, dribbling and shooting in June.
The first two sessions take place June 8-12, with ages 4-12 from 9-11:30 a.m. and ages 13-18 in the evening from 5:30-8 p.m.
Campers will be grouped in accordance with age and ability as the week progresses and the camp consists of technical sessions along with tactical and small-sided games as well as speed and agility sessions each day.
The shooting, finishing and goalkeeping camp is scheduled for July 20-24 for ages 8-18 from 9-11:30 a.m.

Wilson Central wrestling clinic
Wilson Central's wrestling program will conduct a free elementary youth wrestling camp June 11-13 in the Wildcats' wrestling room on the WCHS campus.
It is a beginner's camp for any K-8 student in Wilson County who has little or not experience. Check-in will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the clinic will run until noon. A takedown tournament will be held following the final day's session for the students if they choose to participate.
To register, email Coach John Kramer at kramerj@wcschools.com and list T-shirt size. Due to space limitations, the camp will be limited to 60 participants.

CU volleyball camps
Cumberland volleyball coach Kathy Slaughter will offer individual and team camps this summer at the Dallas Floyd Recreation Center.
All-Skills Clinics will take place for middle school and high school players June 9-10 for high school and June 11-12 for middle school student-athletes.
Setting and Attacking Clinics for the middle school and high school players are scheduled for June 13.
An Elite Instructional and Competition Team Camp will take place for high school teams July 16-18 while a Middle School Team Camp will be held July 25-26.

FCS softball camp
The Friendship Christian youth softball camp will be the week of June 8-12 from 9-11 a.m. each day. The camp is for ages 6-11.

FCS volleyball all-skills camp
Friendship Christian volleyball coach John Stephens will hold an all-skills camp June 9, 10 and 11 at the Bay Family Sportsplex.
Cost is $75 per camper for all athletes entering grades six through eight and will be held 9 a.m. - 12 Noon. The camp will focus on passing, hitting, setting and serving with a focus on learning defense and offense for team play. Register atwww.fcsvolleyball.com.

CU Sports Hall of Fame
The Cumberland University Athletic Department is accepting nominations for the Class of 2015 Sports Hall of Fame until June 13.
Nominations must be made in writing and include full justification for the nomination, including statistics, honors, awards and any other information pertaining to the nominee.
The 2015 Hall of Fame dinner is set for Friday, October 30, at 6:30 p.m. in Baird Chapel.

Bulldog basketball camps
Cumberland women's basketball coach Jeremy Lewis will offer two camps for boys and girls ages 6-13 at the Dallas Floyd Recreation Center.
Both sessions will run from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and include offensive skill work, ball handling, shooting, defensive drills and conditioning.
Lunch will be provided each day with the camp fee, which is $125 per camper or $200 for both camps. Camp sessions are scheduled for June 22-25 and July 6-9. Camp information and forms for individuals and teams may be found at gocumberlandathletics.com/campsclinics/default/
