Local woman gets five years in federal prison on drug charges

Additionally, as part of her plea agreement, Neal is expected to cooperate with law enforcement officials and the courts in any matters related to her case.

Raytheon Raythy Neal, her husband, is to be sentenced on drug conspiracy charges on March 18, 2013. He was one of 17 Mid-state individuals, 11 of them members of the Vice Lords gang, indicted by a federal grand jury in September 2011 on drug conspiracy charges and associated violence while illegally possessing firearms.

Since then, a number of the suspects have pleaded guilty, proffered a sentence or were found guilty during a trial in federal court.
