“John brings a wealth of experience and business savvy to the table,” Brock said. “I am excited to team up with him in this new venture.”
Brock, a graduate of Mt. Juliet High School and Cumberland University, is no stranger to the music business. He is the son of songwriter Buddy Brock, author of a number of country music hits including “Watermelon Crawl” by Tracy Byrd and “Fall in Love” by Kenny Chesney.
“Caleb brings a record of honesty and a strong work ethic to our team. His enthusiasm and passion for live entertainment along with his close ties in the music industry promise to be a key component of our success in this venture,” Mires said.
Both men are working hard to spread the word about their first major event: a Nov. 13 concert at The Mill at Lebanon featuring well-known country music artist Aaron Tippin, along with local National Guardsman Darby Ledbetter, best known for his song “I Won’t Let my Guard Down,” and newcomer Nathan Young.
“We chose to stage our inaugural event here at home in Wilson County” both men explained. “We are excited to team up with the folks at ‘The Mill’ and the crew at WANT ‘Real Country’ FM 98.9 to make this happen.”
Tickets for the Aaron Tippin event go on sale Oct.1. For tickets and more information, visit www.visionmusicinc.com.
