LEBANON -- Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, Aug. 21 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Morris, 70, of Lebanon.
A 1959 graduate of Lebanon High School and a member of Rocky Valley Baptist Church, she died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011 at University Medical Center.
Mrs. Morris was a homemaker, and retired from the manufacturing business where she worked for over 50 years at Toshiba, Lux Clock and Precision Rubber.
Services were conducted by Bro. Jason Lohorn and Bro. Mark Rager with interment at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: her husband of 49 years John Morris; son Scott (Ami) Morris; grandchildren Jess Morris, Colten Morris, Chloe Venegoni and Jadon Morris; great-grandchild Teagan Maliyah; brothers Joe (Harriet) Barnes and David (Judy) Barnes; sisters Frances Baird, Jane (Gerald) Griffin, Charlene Cooper and Ann Barnes; sisters-in-law, Pauline (Kenneth) Dodd and Frances (Jr.) Dodd; brother-in-law Charlie Morris; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by parents Herman and Alma Barnes; sister Dorothy Davis; brother Bobby Barnes; nephews Larry Baird and Mike Bush; bother-in-law James Albert Morris; sisters-in-law Nellie Tyree and Anna Lou Morris.
Pallbearers: Terry Ashe, Eugene Roberts, Floyd Barnes, Steve Bush, Ronnie Davis and Tommy Davis. Honorary: Charles Scott, John Petree, Mark Vastola, Mike Douglas, Kenny Wilkerson, Mary Beth Malone and Jennifer Oglesby.
The family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Rocky Valley Baptist Church Building Fund.
