LPD, Postal inspector help seize pot

Lebanon Police Department and the U.S. Postal Inspector conducted a joint investigation that resulted in the seizure of approximately 15 pounds of high grade marijuana, with an estimated street value of $60,000, according to a release from LPD.

Jennifer Drake and Michael Fisher of Chapel Hill were found to be in possession of the package containing the marijuana inside their vehicle, along with their infant child.

Department of Children's Services were contacted for the welfare of the child and the investigation is ongoing at this time, the release stated.
