State Rep. Susan Lynn was recently endorsed by the membership of the Tennessee Professional Fire Fighters Association (TPFFA).
The organization has 30 affiliates and approximately 4,000 active and retired members across the state, consisting of full-time fire fighters and those involved in fire prevention, fire fighter instructors, EMS, fire/EMS dispatch and those involved in other emergency-related services in Tennessee.
In a letter to Lynn, James Mitchell, president of the organization, said, "Upon receiving our endorsement our friends know that they are receiving a respected endorsement with an engaged membership willing to work tirelessly on their behalf," and "the Tennessee Professional Fire Fighters Association is proud to support the election of candidates, like you, who measure up on the issues that most concern our members."
Lynn, who has been endorsed by the organization before, said, "The endorsement of TPFFA is a particularly treasured endorsement for me. I hold emergency responders in the absolute highest regard, and being their chosen candidate again in this election makes me extremely proud."
Lynn, a Republican, serves the 57th District in the Tennessee State House. She is unopposed in the upcoming Primary Election on August 4.
