Crowe was transported by Wilson County Emergency Management Agency to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Bryan noted Crowe remains hospitalized and is in critical condition.

Bryan said while deputies were on the scene, Clemmons drove to the WCSD office in Lebanon and called dispatchers on the way to say he was turning himself in. Bryan said deputies were waiting for Clemmons in the parking lot and arrested him there without incident.

He is cooperating with us, Bryan said, adding that Clemmons has several arrests and convictions in his past. Weve dealt with him before. Hes been through the system several times, he added.

Bryan said evidence was recovered at the scene and more charges could be levied against Clemmons.
