A consensual search of the truck revealed several items including three GPS units. Bowen said that officers later discovered the GPS units and other items had reportedly been taken from vehicle burglaries in the Richmond Hills and Five Oaks subdivisions.

A subsequent search of a residence on Ward Street led to the discovery of more property reported as stolen.

The driver of the vehicle, Brandon W. Shelton, 19, was arrested and charged with two counts of burglary to a vehicle and two counts of theft. He was released after posting $8,000 total bond.
