The Mt. Juliet Senior Activity Center will host an open house on Thursday, August 3, from 4 until 6 p.m. to highlight activities and services the center provides to the community.
Participants from several of the activities and classes held weekly at the center will be in attendance and available for discussion about their respective topics. The open house will also provide a chance for those interested in becoming more involved or joining the center to tour the facility and ask questions about programming.
"This is an opportunity for the public to better understand the services provided," Mt. Juliet Senior Activity Center Director Tanya Graham noted. "The hope is that people will spread the word about what we are and what we do so that we can continue to build our participant base."
A community resource as well as an activity center, the Mt. Juliet Senior Activity Center provides helpful information on topics of interest to seniors, such as Medicare, AARP tax assistance, support groups, lunch and learns and more. To learn more, visit mjseniorcenter.org.
