Mt. Juliet police are seeking the public's help to identify a trailer thief who unsuccessfully attempted to conceal his face from a surveillance camera.

During the early morning hours of Friday, Jan. 9, a large black dump trailer was stolen from Goodard Construction, located in the 9000 block of Lebanon Road.

A surveillance camera captured a dark-colored 2002-2005 model Dodge Ram 1500 single cab, short wheel base pickup truck pull up to the business. An unidentified white male passenger exited the truck and attempted to cover the camera with a hat. Another unknown suspect was driving the truck.

Anyone who recognizes the man captured on the surveillance video is encouraged to call the Mt. Juliet Police Department at 615-754-2550.

Information can also be provided anonymously by calling 615-754-8477 or via the MJPD website at mjpd.org.
