Providence Place of Mt. Juliet Assisted Living recently announced their selection as a 2016 Best of Assisted Living Award winner on SeniorAdvisor.com, the largest ratings and reviews site for senior care and services in North America.
"We are grateful to be receiving this award and take pride that so many families have allowed us to care for their loved ones over the years," Providence Place of Mt. Juliet Assisted Living Administrator Cyndi Holland said. "We look forward to many more years in this community."
Providence Place of Mt. Juliet was started as a family business with Holland's parents, Cecil and Sharon Stone of Hermitage, in 2000. In 2005, they transferred ownership to Goodworks Unlimited LLC, which now owns more than 20 assisted living facilities in Tennessee and Kentucky.
Winners of the SeniorAdvisor.com Best of 2016 Awards represent the top tier of in-home care, assisted living and other senior living providers, based on online reviews written by seniors and their families. Of the nearly 100,000 providers currently listed on the website, just over 1,000 are recognized. This designation places winners in the top one percent of senior care providers according to consumers. To qualify for inclusion in the Best of 2016 Awards, providers must have maintained an average overall rating of at least 4.5 stars while receiving three or more new reviews in 2015.
