Tyler McChurch Memorial Scholarship
LEBANON -- While Monday afternoon's inaugural Tyler McChurch Memorial Golf Tournament at Five Oaks Golf & Country Club has a full field of players, there is another opportunity to help fund a scholarship fund in his memory at Lebanon's Cumberland University.

A former football standout at Friendship Christian School and Cumberland, McChurch, 29, died in February of 2013 in a single car accident.

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Tyler McChurch Memorial Scholarship Fund at CU.

In addition, a portion of the monies raised will benefit youth football in Wilson County.

Plans call for a benefit auction to be held at 11 a.m. at Five Oaks with several outstanding items available up for grabs.

Just a few of the items up for auction include:
a box of Edgar Hoill Cigars,
a hocky stick signed by Shea Weber of the Nashville Predators,
a bourbon basket,
a Topflight 3 Wood,
a Calloway Golf Bag,
a Nike Golf Bag,
an Odyssey Rossi Putter,
a fun package from Mt. Juliet's Cedar Creek Sports,
a pair of Footjoy DNA Golf Shoes,
a precious stone ring donated by The Jewelers,
a Sports Village membership and four all-day passes to the 2015 Wilson County Fair.

Platinum Sponsors include: Cracker Barrel and Advance Signs.

Gold Sponsors: Aflac of Middle Tennessee, Coca-Cola and Image Food Sales of Watertown.
