Goodpasture 70, Friendship Christian 44
NASHVILLE -- Goodpasture rode a 21-5 second quarter streak and went on to post a 70-44 victory over Friendship Christian Monday afternoon, Dec. 19 at Bridgestone Arena.
Friendship led 16-13 before Goodpasture went on its run.
Zach Blair led the Commanders (4-6) with 17 points while Joe Greenwood added seven and Brady Stovall five.
The Commanders will be back in action Thursday, Dec. 29 in the Sgt. York Southeast Invitational at York Institute in Jamestown. FCS will take on Skyline (Ala.) in a 2 p.m. contest.

Mt. Juliet 51, Riverdale 46
LEBANON -- Mt. Juliet's Golden Bears stretched their winning streak to five straight following Monday's 51-46 victory over Riverdale in the Vision Realty Christmas Classic at Campbell Brandon Gymnasium.
Trey Pruitt led MJHS with 17 points as his squad pulled to 6-6 on the season headed into a Tuesday night game vs. LaVergne.

Lebanon 52, LaVergne 51
Lebanon High's Blue Devils got 19 points from Eddie Jackson and 14 from JaKeese Turner in Monday's narrow 52-51 win over LaVergne in the Vision Realty Christmas Classic at Campbell Brandon Gymnasium.
Senior Cameron Oliver swished a pair of free throws with five seconds left in regulation -- building a 52-49 lead.
LaVergne connected on a deep 3-pointer at the buzzer for the final one-point margin.
LHS was scheduled to play Riverdale Tuesday in the final night of the classic.

Wilson Central 56, Jackson Co. 47
COLUMBIA -- Wilson Central improved to 6-5 on the season following Monday's 56-47 win over Jackson County in the First Farmers & Merchants Christmas Classic at Columbia Central High.
Kene Aruh had 16 points to lead the Wildcats while Gavin Johnson had 13 and Naz Czeskleba added 10 points.

Trousdale Co. 54, MJ Christian 46
MT. JULIET -- A frantic fourth quarter comeback fell short Saturday afternoon as host Mt. Juliet Christian Academy dropped a 54-46 loss to Trousdale County in MJCA Christmas Classic.
Down 42-21 after three quarters, the Saints out-scored the 'Jackets 25-12 in the final eight minutes.
Tyler West led MJ Christian (6-5) with 18 points while Logan West knocked down four 3-pointers and finished with 13 points.
