Tickets are on sale now for a fund-raiser, which aims to build a special playground in the Gladeville community.

The playground will be built in memory of 3-year-old Raelee Parris. Parris passed away in December 2015.

Raelee's mother, Heather Parris, said that her toddler's death happened unexpectedly. "He had a febrile seizure, which is a fever-induced seizure in his sleep," she explained. However, Raelee's legacy will live on through the project.

On Saturday, Nov. 12, the fund-raiser, which consists of a concert, auction and dinner, will be held from 5:30-9 p.m. at the Gladeville Community Center.

"All proceeds from ticket sales and auction items will go to the Raelee's Legacy Playground," Heather added.

For more information, visit raeleeslegacy.org or follow them on Facebook.

Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased by sending a check to Raelee's Legacy, Inc., P.O. Box 280, Gladeville, TN 37071 - in which case your tickets can be mailed directly to you. Folks are also welcomed to stop by the Wilson Bank & Trust branch in Gladeville to purchase tickets.
