LEBANON -- Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, March 31 at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home for Mrs. Cripps, 90, of Mt. Juliet.
Born February 6, 1921, in Wilson County, she died Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at the Pavilion in Lebanon.
She worked at the Lebanon Garment Factory and was retired from the Bradley Candy Company. Mrs. Cripps was a member of the Highland Heights Church of Christ.
Visitation Wednesday 2–6 p.m. and after 12 Noon Thursday at Ligon & Bobo.
Services will be conducted by Brother Barry Keene. Interment will follow at the Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: son Larry (Gwen) Cripps of Mt. Juliet; grandchildren Deberah Kay Pipes and James Daniel Cripps -- both of Lebanon; and Sgt. Larry (Miranda) Cripps II of Ft. Riley, Kansas; along with five great grandchildren.
The daughter of the late Ike and Minnie Maude Dobbs Singleton, she was also preceded in death by her husband James Edward Cripps in February 1979; sisters Minnie Mae Carver, Ethel Barrett and Ruby Hudson; along with brothers Prentice G., Douglas, Roy and Wesley Singleton.
