Top-seeded and regular season champion Campbellsville will take on No. 8-seeded Bluefield today at 2 p.m. as the women's portion of the Mid-South Conference basketball tournament continues at the Dallas Floyd Recreation Center. Admission is $10 per person with tickets being good for a full day of action.
Campbellsville sports a record of 27-3, 16-2 while Bluefield stand 14-14, 7-11.
Fourth-seeded Shawnee State (18-11, 11-7) and fifth-seeded Lindsey Wilson (19-11, 9-9) meet at 4 p.m. in the day’s second quarterfinal.
In the evening session, No. 2-seed Georgetown (19-7, 13-5) plays No. 7-seed Rio Grande (18-12, 7-11) at 6 p.m.
The nightcap features No. 3-seed Cumberlands, Ky., (19-9, 13-5) and No. 6-seed Pikeville (13-17, 7-11) at 8 p.m.
Women's semifinals are scheduled for 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday with the finals set for 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
